Mac Sauce-from my recipes
1 pound elbow pasta
1 1/2 - 2 Cups grated Extra sharp cheddar cheese (aged 2+ Years0 or cheese of your choice
1/2 Cup Romano Cheese
2 Teaspoons dried mustard
salt and pepper to taste
Cook the pasta to a little less then al dente. Drain
Add sauce and both cheeses to a large pot and cook over low-medium heat till cheese is melted. Add mustard and salt and pepper if using.
Add the pasta, stir to combine. Heat till hot. OR
Pre heat oven to 375
Put Mac & Cheese in a 9 x 11 baking dish
Top with Panko (1 cup of panko with 2 teaspoons melted butter combine)
bake uncovered until panko is brown and crispy.
